Sorry I’ve been so quiet lately. I’ve been heads down and hard at work on the next release. Here’s a general idea of where we’re headed with the redesign.

- graffitio: Release 7 has been approved by Apple. Look for it in the App Store soon.
- graffitio: @tekniks Rel 8 will be iPhone 3.0 OS only. 3.0 will be a free software upgrade from Apple for all existing iPhones and $9.99 for Touches.

- graffitio: @tekniks it doesn't auto refresh. new messages are pushed to your phone. its much more efficient than hitting refresh in graffitio.

Yup! I actually have a design team working with me on the redesign for the next release. In addition to putting a nice polish on the logo from crowdSPRING, they’re also collaborating with me on how we can add all the new features that have been dancing around in my head, but still keep the app as streamlined and straightforward as it is now. I’ll have a more detailed post about their role next week.
As for beta testing, it will happen, but I don’t know when. Sorry! I’m keeping this one close to my chest for now.
I love the teaser. I really hoped it would have two bi-polar solid contrasting colors! I think it makes the app pop as well as have that “streamlined” and smooth image. Professionalism is coming… I getting a bit excited and i have not been lately! K

I like this app and would like to:
- click a username to see other posts/walls by that user
- I’d like to flip the wall to the mapview to see where thelocation is exactly
- a star rating system added to the wall. Would be nice to rate a place as well as leave a comment. This would also allow you to add a search by “at least 3″ stars type functionality.
- can the wall support pics? I’d like to show what the food looks like, or the view, etc

Jason: Some of the ideas you’ve mentioned have already been discussed in the Feature Requests forum. I’d love for you to create a topic in the forums with your ideas. Here’s a quick response, and if you want to get into more detail, I’ll respond in the forum:
- This would be a cool feature, but I think it would have to be opt-in, as it exposes a lot of information about individual users.
- Have you seen the wall detail view? From the Walls screen, click the blue detailed disclosure button and you’ll see a small map. Click Open in Maps to open it in the Maps application for detailed directions.
- Ratings are nice, but also are ripe for abuse. I really think we need to have some way to mark good walls though.
- Pics are coming.
