Like the others said, relax and enjoy yourself. We all know you've been working your ass off with this project and not getting a dime from us, so who are we to complain. I also wouldn't have a problem paying for this app. I don't think the donate thing is good only because too many people never do actually donate. Maybe two seperate apps like suggested would actually be the best route. The trial version could be rel1 while everyone that pays gets rel4 and beyond. Can't wait for Engine Yard to kick in and let this app shine. Thanks again.

First, you're a genius and the app/concept is amazing. Regarding the cost issue without having a paid version, maybe there is a way an advertiser can sponsor the installation of the app. So a "sponsored by" ad is seen only once after the install and update processes. Best of luck from los angeles.
-user since launch day

@Chris S.

Jailbreaking is not necessary - iTunes has "ad hoc" provisioning that allows anyone to distribute apps within a small group (I think the limit is 100).

And his name isn't Andrew. :)

Also...

Classic brought up a good point of how you can make money, yet still have anyone join the community. Maybe when you get around to adding in photos to wall posts, you can make that a feature on the paid version, etc. Dunno- just more ideas to throw at your overflowing list muhah!

Pretty much what Bikr said. Relax and enjoy your trip, your dedication to this project is recognized by the community. The program is free from the app store, so no one should expect anything more than that from you. Hopefully you got my beta invite request email! =]

Also since Anoopr (Andrew?) can't really respond to e-mails at the moment, anyone know if a jailbroken (i have a g3) iPhone is necessary to get in on the beta? Thanks

-Chris S.

PS Time to setup a Paypal donate button to the site, I would love to send some money your way (nothing big, but what I can spare).

Hey Anoop,
If you're still there (Berlin/Germany), here's some food recs. I used to go to Germany a lot for exchange programs, so I'm somewhat versed in the culture.
1) You gotta get a Doner Kebab. It's a turkish street food, sort of like a gyro, but way better in my book. Ask for it with yogurt and hot sauces.
2) If you're doing any grocery shopping, buy some Chocolate (Schoko) Mueslix. I'd recommend Dr. Oetker's or Vitalis. Far and away my favorite cereal. Actually, I feel like it's insulting to even call it a cereal.
3) Lastly, deli's sell this drinkable yogurt, I forget what it's called, but it makes a great snack. Sort of like quik, but lots more flavors, and healthier.
Enjoy Europe,
Dan

when i first used this app, i accidentally created multiple walls thinking i was creating posts within my original wall. perhaps a function to delete walls you create would be good...or automatically delete walls that have been idle for months?

the app is great though i'm getting all my friends on it. you should have a donate button that works with paypal.

thanks

Don't worry man.. We all know the biggest hurdle is Apple screwing the pooch on the updates, not server issues. :) Enjoy your trip, we're all staying loyal lol.

Nice picture!

Speaking of the cost issue - perhaps you could support it (or at least help) by posting two versions of Graffitio. I see a lot of developers doing this on the app store - a free version with basic functionality, and a paid "full" version that could incorporate some of the future features (such as profiles, map integration, etc.).

I know I'd pay for those features.
